Some jobs are about more than the floor. New Era Flooring transforms whole rooms: garages into home gyms, nurseries and kids’ rooms, and rec rooms. We handle the flooring, feature walls and trim, and bring in the other trades the room needs.

Garage to home gym
The owner turned his own garage into a home gym with a textured full-flake epoxy floor that has grip for training. A garage conversion can also include wall panelling, trim, and electrical work through the electrician we work with.

Nurseries and kids' rooms
We have transformed nurseries and kids’ bedrooms. One example is in our portfolio: a custom bedroom and nursery with a painted ceiling and bunks.

Rec rooms
A rec room usually needs a hard-wearing floor, some character on the walls and tidy trim. We plan the three together so the room is finished in one project.

One company for the whole room
Bigger room projects often need an electrician or a plumber. We bring in trades we work with and handle the scheduling, or we work with trades you already use. You deal with one company from start to finish.

How a New Era project runs
One call covers the whole job. You can hand it all to us, or keep the parts you would rather handle yourself.
Tell us about the floor
Call or send the quote form. We come out, look at the floor and what is under it, and give you a price for the work you want.
Clear the rooms your way
Move the furniture yourself, or ask us to book the professional movers we work with. They photograph each room, move everything to another room, the driveway or a storage pod, and put it back where it was. Moving is optional and priced separately.
We do the work
Floors, carpets and stairs that are staying can be covered while we work. If the job needs an electrician or a plumber, we bring in trades we work with, or work alongside yours.
Clean up and move back in
We tidy and vacuum the work area when we finish. If you want the whole home cleaned before you settle back in, ask about a deep clean, priced separately.
Each step beyond the flooring work is optional and quoted on its own.
Room transformation questions
Can you turn a garage into a home gym?
Yes. The owner did it in his own garage with a textured full-flake epoxy floor. We can also do the walls and trim.
Do you do full renovations?
We focus on floors and the finishing work around them. Some jobs grow into full room projects, and we take those on when they suit what we do.
Who does the electrical and plumbing?
An electrician and a plumber we work with regularly, or your own trades if you prefer.
Can I see rooms you have done?
Yes. Our portfolio includes a custom bedroom and nursery, a kitchen renovation and a laundry room.
Do you paint the room?
We paint new trim, not walls. We can refer you to a painting company for the walls.
