An epoxy floor turns bare garage concrete into a hard-wearing floor you can clean, work on and train on. New Era Flooring installs full-flake epoxy with a clear top coat, and can add texture where you want grip. The owner did his own 600 square foot garage this way and turned it into a home gym.

New Era does the work and brings in an epoxy company we work with when a job calls for it.
Full flake or light flake?
On a full-flake floor, the whole wet coat is covered in coloured flake. Once it cures, the loose flake is scraped off and the floor gets a clear top coat. On a light-flake floor, more of the solid epoxy colour shows, with flake scattered across it.
The owner’s garage gym is a full-flake floor in black and white. We can show you both styles and help you choose colours.
Is an epoxy floor slippery?
Plain epoxy can feel smooth, and smooth epoxy can be slippery. For a gym, or a garage you walk through in wet winter boots, we can give the floor a textured finish so it has grip.

What affects the price of an epoxy floor?
The size of the floor, the condition of the concrete, how much flake you want and the colours you pick all change the price. We look at the space and quote the job, instead of quoting a flat rate per square foot.
Is epoxy right for your space?
Epoxy suits concrete floors that take a beating: garages, garage gyms and similar spaces. If the room is somewhere you will spend a lot of time barefoot, we will also talk you through other floors, such as vinyl or hardwood, so you can compare.

One call covers the whole job. You can hand it all to us, or keep the parts you would rather handle yourself.
Tell us about the floor
Call or send the quote form. We come out, look at the floor and what is under it, and give you a price for the work you want.
Clear the rooms your way
Move the furniture yourself, or ask us to book the professional movers we work with. They photograph each room, move everything to another room, the driveway or a storage pod, and put it back where it was. Moving is optional and priced separately.
We do the work
Floors, carpets and stairs that are staying can be covered while we work. If the job needs an electrician or a plumber, we bring in trades we work with, or work alongside yours.
Clean up and move back in
We tidy and vacuum the work area when we finish. If you want the whole home cleaned before you settle back in, ask about a deep clean, priced separately.
Each step beyond the flooring work is optional and quoted on its own.
