New Era Flooring works in small commercial spaces as well as homes. We work with owners and designers on storefronts and studios, from taking out the old floor to the finished surface. A recent job was a small storefront converted into a music studio.

What we do in commercial spaces
The same services we offer homeowners work in a commercial unit. We can take out the old floor, fix and level the subfloor, install the new floor and finish the edges with trim.
Working with your designer
The client on the music studio job was a designer with a clear plan for the space, and we took care of the flooring. If you have a designer, bring them into the quote so the floor fits their plan from the start.

Getting the space ready to open
If the space needs a deep clean once the work is finished, ask about our post-project cleaning so you can open without calling another company. Tell us your opening date when you ask for a quote.
How a New Era project runs
One call covers the whole job. You can hand it all to us, or keep the parts you would rather handle yourself.
Tell us about the floor
Call or send the quote form. We come out, look at the floor and what is under it, and give you a price for the work you want.
Clear the rooms your way
Move the furniture yourself, or ask us to book the professional movers we work with. They photograph each room, move everything to another room, the driveway or a storage pod, and put it back where it was. Moving is optional and priced separately.
We do the work
Floors, carpets and stairs that are staying can be covered while we work. If the job needs an electrician or a plumber, we bring in trades we work with, or work alongside yours.
Clean up and move back in
We tidy and vacuum the work area when we finish. If you want the whole home cleaned before you settle back in, ask about a deep clean, priced separately.
Each step beyond the flooring work is optional and quoted on its own.

Yes. The client on our music studio job was a designer, and we did the flooring for her space.

Hardwood, vinyl and tile, along with the removal, subfloor preparation, levelling and trim around them.
Can you clean the space before we open?
Yes. Post-project cleaning is available as a separate, optional service after the flooring work.
