A new floor looks finished once the edges are right. New Era Flooring installs baseboards and shoe moulding, hangs interior doors and does general trim work, then caulks and paints the new trim so you do not have to hire a painter for it.
What it covers

Any room getting a new floor, and trim updates on their own.

Wall painting. We can put you in touch with a painting company.
Baseboards and shoe moulding
New flooring usually means new baseboards, or at least new shoe moulding to cover the expansion gap along the walls. We remove the old trim, install the new pieces and fit the corners cleanly.
Hanging interior doors
We hang interior doors, whether the old ones need replacing or a new floor height means the doors have to be refitted.
Caulked, painted and ready to live with
We can price the trim job with caulking and painting included, so the new baseboards and casings are finished when we leave. We paint the trim only, not the walls.
What about the walls?
Wall painting is not part of our trim work. If the rooms need painting, we can put you in touch with a painting company we know.
How a New Era project runs
One call covers the whole job. You can hand it all to us, or keep the parts you would rather handle yourself.
Tell us about the floor
Call or send the quote form. We come out, look at the floor and what is under it, and give you a price for the work you want.
Clear the rooms your way
Move the furniture yourself, or ask us to book the professional movers we work with. They photograph each room, move everything to another room, the driveway or a storage pod, and put it back where it was. Moving is optional and priced separately.
We do the work
Floors, carpets and stairs that are staying can be covered while we work. If the job needs an electrician or a plumber, we bring in trades we work with, or work alongside yours.
Clean up and move back in
We tidy and vacuum the work area when we finish. If you want the whole home cleaned before you settle back in, ask about a deep clean, priced separately.
Each step beyond the flooring work is optional and quoted on its own.

Do you install baseboards and shoe moulding?
Yes. We install baseboards and shoe moulding with new floors or as a trim job on its own.
Can you paint the trim too?
Yes. We can install, caulk and paint the new trim so you do not need a painter for it.
Do you paint walls?
No. We finish the trim only. For wall painting we can refer you to a painting company.
Do you hang interior doors?
Yes. We hang doors as part of trim work or alongside a flooring job.
Can I hire you for trim without new flooring?
Yes. Trim work can be booked on its own.
